ISPE: Independent Study Physical Education
ISPE opportunities are offered both in the 1-3PM time slot and in our traditional afternoon programs and Club Season. We have participated in ISPE for years and can provide you with all the information, insurance certificates and other requirements your school may require. Our staff is ready to help your student athlete get the most of their PE requirement in one of our programs.
ISPE General Info
What is ISPE? An opportunity given by your school to do your Physical Education hours with an outside organization. We insure your student athlete and do the follow up and assessment. This allows your athlete to save some valuable time in a busy school schedule and get their training in on the sand.

ISPE (Early Session)
Our Early ISPE session makes the most of your athletes time. We offer this early session from 1:00-3:00 pm to allow athletes to get to the beach during their ISPE period. The program includes two sessions weekly over 9 months and each session is 2 hours each. This is a fun program for the local athlete who is ready for some great instruction from the best coaches on the sand. Join with a friend and make the most of your PE period and improve your skills at beautiful River Mouth.

Who: Boys and Girls 7th & 8th Grades.
When: September thru May
Where: Rivermouth “Dog Beach” Del Mar
Cost: $1,000 Fall, $1,000 Spring (Early Session Price Only)
Commitment: Must meet required hours to satisfy school requirements
Practice Days: Wednesday & Friday 1:00-3:00 PM
Requirements: Must meet required hours and receive an assessment by SD Beach coach and most schools will require a self assessment.
ISPE (Afternoon Programs)
Which Programs qualify for ISPE? ALL of them! You can get your hours in any program we offer. You can do the Fall Ball, The Beach Club and Summer Training where applicable. All you have to do is register for any of the Girls or Boys Programs and you can find the right training fit for your ISPE hours. We will help you with registering and meeting program requirements.
